We are sad to announce that on January 30, 2025, at the age of 95, Gladys Novey of Clearfield, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Meyer Marcus and Rebecca Katz Marcus; her husband Sol Novey; her daughter Marsha Karen Novey; and her siblings, Adolph Marcus (Ella), Julius Marcus (Jean), Larry (Marlene) and Sara Kobrin (Theodore).
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Martin Novey (Amy) of Reisterstown, MD and Alane Seidel (Gary) of Ellicott City, MD; her grandchildren, Scott Seidel (Rani), Taylor Seidel (Mary Kate), Luke Connelly and Mackenzie Connelly; her great grandchild Keshav; and her sister Gloria M. Grabenstein (Daniel).
Viewing was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Beardsley Funeral Home & Crematory (113 N 3rd St, Clearfield, PA 16830). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, Mid-State Literacy Council or MADD.
