He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Vernon and Harriet Branthoover (Girt); and his brother Harry Branthoover. He is survived by: his sons, Gerald Lee "Chip" Branthoover, Jr. (Tracy) of Philipsburg and Robert Scott Branthoover of Philipsburg; his grandchildren, Racquel White (Adam) of Osceola Mills, Ericia Ott (Michael) of Grampian and Tony Branthoover (Tabby) of Grampian; and his great grandchildren, Chloe Ott and Brodie White.
