He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lee and Ruth Bowman (Bailor); his daughters, Teresa Diane Bowman and Ruth Marie Bowman; and his sisters, Kathryn Tibbens and Julia A. Lewis.
He is survived by: his children, Shelly D. Carper (John) of Tyrone, Kathryn C. Moore, Tracy Ann and Terry E. Floyd; his grandsons, Kaleb Chronister and Drew Chronister; his sister Linda Peters (Jim) of Mineral Springs; his great-aunt Flora Arbanas; his brothers-in-law, Robert M. Tibbens, II and Wilbur Lewis; and his friend Angelo Mercado. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Toys for Tots, or Kerr Addition United Methodist Church.
