He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. Jr. Heichel and Betty Heichel (Narehood); and his mother-in-law Dorothy Morris (Bishop). He is survived by: his wife Suzette Heichel (Morris); and his siblings, Philip Heichel (Louette) of West Decatur, Rebecca Hertlein (Greg) of Clearfield, Bonnie Hugney (Blaine) of Frenchville and Connie McGovern (Joe) of Frenchville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID circumstances, funeral services will be private for the immediate family.
