It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Catherine Hess of Clearfield, Pennsylvania, born in Curwensville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 22, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen John and Teresa Helen Padisak (Cyprich); her husband Robert Hess of Washington; her sons, Mark Stephen Hess and John Sheaffer; and her siblings, Verna, Annie, Mary, Andy, Teresa, John, Helen and Stephanie.
She is survived by: her children, Kimberly (Mike), Robert Hess, Susan, Cheryl Gilbert (David), Gregory Hess (Terri) and Douglas Hess; and her sister Josephine Hoover. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
