It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Shomo (Clearfield, Pennsylvania), born in Lewistown, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 1, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Shomo and Pearl Shomo (Glace); his sons, Carl Shomo, Jr., Gary A. Shomo and Gregory P. Shomo; and his siblings, Cloyd Glace, Paul Shomo, Philip Shomo, Lynn Pierre Shomo, Dorothy Long, Helen Taylor and Lola Hardin.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia J. Shomo (Caffey); his children, Stephen Shomo Sr. (Cheryl), Sherry Saltsman, Patti Shomo and Tod Shomo (Mary); and his sisters, June Juran, Joyce Valenza, Betty Wing and Linda Ardery. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Flegal Road Church of Christ.
