We bid farewell to Carl Ogden of Clearfield, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 29, 2024 at the age of 93. Carl touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton'Archer' Ogden and Cora Ogden (Mark); his wife Letitia S.'Tish' Ogden (Young); his son James Ogden; his granddaughters, Rebecca Glass and Amanda Ogden; and his siblings, Louise Johnson, Elizabeth Ammerman, Catherine Kolbe, Charles Ogden, Col. Harold Ogden and Major William Ogden.
He is survived by: his children, William Ogden (Denise) of Clearfield, Victoria Beck (Jim) of DuBois and Catherine Young of Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Steven Ogden (Kimberly Matthews), Jennifer Davis (Billy), Sarah Seyler (Gerald Webber), David Glass (Jessica) and Lucy Aiken; and his sisters, Donna Quigley (John) and Gloria Wurster (Larry). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Joy United Methodist Church (1727 Mt Joy Rd, Clearfield, PA 16830).
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Mount Joy United Methodist Church, PO Box 409, Clearfield, PA 16830.
