He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Fletcher Reid and Martin Reid; his brothers, Walter Reid and Warren Reid of Warrenton; and his half-brother Glen Reid of Kennesaw.
He is survived by: his spouse Rosalie Cardinale Reid; his children, Robin Davis of Richmond and Chris Morrison of Arizona; his stepchildren, Lisa MacCammon (David) of Fairfax, Donna Kirby (James) of Vienna, Joseph D. Swarm (Stacy) of Potomac Falls and William E. Swarm (Michelle) of Grasonville; and his half-sister Linda Vian of Sparta. He is also survived by children and three great grand children.
