We bid farewell to Arleatha Hurd of Clearfield, Pennsylvania, born in Mobile, Alabama, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 21, 2024 at the age of 86. Arleatha touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Arleatha may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Arleatha touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parent Doris Barnett (Hurd); her grandparents, Rev. Felix Hurd and Josephine Hurd; and her cousin Dorothy Hurd. She is survived by: her cousins, William Hurd of Clearfield, Linda Lance of Clearfield, Michael Lance of Clearfield, Darlene Lance of Pittsburgh and Sherry Upsher of Pittsburgh.
The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Clearfield Hobby Garden Club.
