She was predeceased by: her parents, Addison Bell Longstreath and Hazel Danley; her husband John Force Buchanan Jr.; her sister Nancy Lee Scherich; and her parents-in-law, John and Opal Buchanan.
She is survived by: her sons, John Stephen Buchanan (Joyce) of Prosperity, James Addison Buchanan of Florida, Robert Samuel Buchanan (April) of Claysville, Joseph Patrick Buchanan (Cathy) of Taylorstown and Ricklan Lee Buchanan of Pittsburgh. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
