He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Smith and Elvina Smith (Teeters); and his siblings, Jesse, Richard, Homer Smith and Darla Smith.
He is survived by: his children, William Smith (Lacie) of Blue Knob and Mary Smith of Altoona; his grandsons, Owen and Sawyer; and his brothers, George Smith (Louise) and Dale Smith. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and his dog.
