She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Ritchey and Jennie Ritchey (Burket); her husband Richard S. Johnstone; and her siblings, Burle, Roy, Bud Ritchey, Naomi Hoenstine, Betty Nycum, Pauline Miller and Dorothy Crissman.
She is survived by: her daughters, Denise Dodson of Hollidaysburg and Thea Aungst of Claysburg; her grandchildren, Drew Dodson of Hollidaysburg, MacKenzie Kristiniak of State College, Morgan Claar of Claysburg and Brent Claar of Claysburg; her great grandchild Leona Kristiniak; and her sister Annabelle Stiffler of Claysburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to her church.
