She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard C. Helsel and Thelma D. Helsel (Jamison); her husband John E. Aungst; her granddaughter Kristen Aungst; and her siblings, Josephine Smith, Carol Ann Calderwood and Ross "Catfish" Helsel.

She is survived by: her sons, David Aungst (Jean) of Claysburg and Darryl (Jody) of Tyrone; her grandchildren, Matt, Rebecca, Corey, Samantha and Tiffanie Weyant; her great grandchildren, Ryker, Amelia and Addy; and her brothers, Robert "Rip", Wilbur "Buck", Donald and Arthur Helsel.
