She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Stratton and Margaret Stratton (Botwright); and her siblings, Jack Stratton and Judy Hummer. She is survived by: her husband Richard "Dick" Gonsman; her children, Dr. Richard A. Gonsman (Dottie) of Hollidaysburg and Susan Joan Gonsman-Burket of Queen; her grandchildren, Cody Burket of East Freedom, Brian Gonsman of Blue Knob, Mark Gonsman of Truckie, CA and Julie Gonsman of Elizabethtown; her great grandchildren, Liam and Evan Buterbaugh of Elizabethtown; and her brother Jim Stratton of Huntingdon.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to her church or the Claysburg Area Public Library.
