With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Walter of Claysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 11, 2020 at the age of 61. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Walter to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Walter and Lorna Walter (Wannyn); and the mother of his children Kathryn Brown Walter. He is survived by: his wife Audrey Benton; his children, Robert Walter of Queen, Ethan Walter of Osterburg, Heidi Fishel (Ben) of Tyrone and Sarah Walter of Alum Bank; his grandchildren, Grayson, Kolton, Zayne, Micah and Karter; and his sisters, Amy Ickes of Claysburg and Cheri Stephens of East Freedom.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to the Claysburg Volunteer Fire Company, Imler Area Volunteer Fire Company or the Claysburg Area Public Library.
