He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles H. Lightner and Edna Marie Lightner-Bridges (Feathers); his wife Kay Dodson; his son David Lightner (Tracy); his grandchildren, Chelsey Lightner, Andrew Lightner (Mariah), Alan Lightner and Kyle Lightner; his great grandchildren, Elias, Payton and Jace; and his brothers, William and Paul Lightner.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Claysburg Church of the Brethren (577 Bedford St, Claysburg, PA 16625). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to his churches memorial fund.
