We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2025, at the age of 74, Carol A. Claar of Claysburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Merle and Helen Deffibaugh (Musselman); her son Kevin W. Benton; and her brothers, Dennis and John Deffibaugh.
She is survived by: her husband Philip D. Claar; her son Harry Benton IV (Trish); her granddaughters, Terissa and Taylor; her great grandchildren, Dominic, Grayson and Baylee; and her siblings, Mary Lou Claycomb (Troy) and David Lee Deffibaugh (Connie).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
