He was predeceased by: his parents, David Ellwood Patterson and Audine Carolyn Beno. He is survived by: his daughter Grace Patterson; his brother David "Bugsy" Patterson; and his parents-in-law, Bill and Barbara Sweeney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; as well as several brothers and sisters-in-law.
