He was predeceased by: his parents, Aletha "Lee" Franz (Sheesley) of Clarksburg and Frederick T. Hemphill. He is survived by: his wife Wendy L. Hemphill (Butterworth) of Clarksburg; his daughters, Emily B. Kravetsky (Christopher) of Saltsburg, Katy M. Magliozzi (Andrew) of Cincinnati, OH and Jennifer L. Stemerick (Joshua) of Saltsburg; his grandchildren, Andrea, Callie Kravetsky, Jordan Magliozzi and Daniel Stemerick; and his sisters, Rebecca "Becky" Krynock (Mark) of Pittsburgh and Kathy Conaway of Pittsburgh. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
