It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert J. Jones (Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania), born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 12, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his sisters, Karen Kovaleski (Joseph), Colorado Springs, Marie Ferguson (Dale), Margaret Sweeney (Philip) and Barbara Spryn (Robert); and his nieces, Kim Laboranti (Joseph), Colleen Penzone of Peckville, Joseph Kovaleski of Philadelphia, Justin Kovaleski, Kyle Ferguson (Justina), Aprile Sweeney of Philadelphia, Hillary Spryn and Colorado Springs. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Arrangements are under the care of the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Griffin Pond Animal Shelter.
