He was predeceased by: his parents, Anthony Sr. Gilbert and Mary Gilbert; and his siblings, Anthony Gilbert, Jr. and Marion Godfrey. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Gilbert (Ostrowski); his sons, Stephen Gilbert and Robert Gilbert, Jr. (Patricia); his grandchildren, Blair Carrington and Grant Alexander; and his sister Carol Brady.
