It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Regina (Gina) Van Wie Monahan (Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania), born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 3, 2019, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Joseph, Annarose Van Wie, Neddo and Kaddy Walsh; her aunt Mary Lil Walsh; and her uncle John Van Wie.
She is survived by: her parent Regina Walsh Van Wie of Scranton; her husband John Monahan; her siblings, John (Janel), Joseph, Patrick, Kathleen Simrell (James) of Clarks Summit, Meghan of Provo and Carolann (Connor Holdaway) of Colorado Springs; her close friend Gemma Rosato; and her pet Bailey. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, along with many cousins.
