He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Bechtel and Mary Margaret Bechtel (Walsh); and his sister Joan Marie Bechtel. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Sporer; his daughters, Kimberley Ann Liptock (Lawrence) of Clarks Green and Debra Ann Gavin (James) of Peckville; his brother William R. (Clare) of Scott Twp; and his grandchildren, Lawrence Liptock III, Libby Liptock and Sara Gavin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
