It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Rose McGowan (Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania), born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 6, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Leo and Margaret Smith Harrity; and her brother James Harrity. She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Severcool Luzi (Frank) of Havertown and Matthew Severcool of Clarks Summit; her grandchildren, Nathaniel and Francesca Luzi; her siblings, William Harrity of Duryea and Barbara O'Neill of Scranton; and her siblings-in-law, Robert McGowan (Dawn), Kathleen Bower (Dane), Mary Scott (Reese), Ann Hallinan (Gene), Lois Vidra (Joe) and Nora Hinkley. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
