With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kathy A. Summerhill (Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 31, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harry C. Summerhill; her parents, Donald G. Sr. Smith and Margaret Black Smith; her brother Donald Smith, Jr.; her nephew Ryan Smith; and her siblings-in-law, William Summerhill, Gerard McAndrew and Margaret Evans.
She is survived by: her daughter Melissa Summerhill; her caregiver Newton Twp; her close friend Bill Foley; and her brother-in-law David Evans (Newton Twp).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Cancer Society AstraZeneca Hope Lodge, 110 W. Laurel Ave., Cheltenham, PA 19012 to help to provide free lodging for cancer patients and caregivers during treatment.
