He is survived by: his parent Margaret Spory (Dyer); his children, Michael Spory (Patricia) of Front Royal, VA, Steven Spory (Lisa) of Honesdale, Richard Spory (Rose) of Scranton and Penny Spory (Joseph Sepe); his brother Gene Paul Spory of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Ben, Matthew, Emily, Olivia, Steven, David, Jennifer Spory, Beth Whitney, Jessica Chaya, Joseph Sepe and Jonathan Sepe; his great grandchildren, Gabriel Whitney, Elise Whitney, Johnathan Spory, Aubrey Spory, Addison Sepe and Margaret Chaya; and also Newfoundland.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremations Services Inc. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Clarks Summit.
