He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Scalamonti and Elizabeth Talnagi Scalamonti (Betty); his brothers, Michael, Andrew and Charles Scalamonti; and his brother-in-law Adam Ambrogi.

He is survived by: his wife Diane S. Max; his children, Bari Lauren Kroll (Julian), Lisa Renée Scalamonti, Dorie Michele Scalamonti and David Michael Scalamonti; his grandchildren, Gabriel Max Kroll, Alexis, Daniel and Cassidy Scalamonti; his sister Maria Ambrogi; and his sister-in-law Esther Teller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
