She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Garnecki; her parents, Michal Mihalik and Johanna Saksa Mihalik; and her siblings, Michael, Andrew and Mary Scotchlas.
She is survived by: her children, Frank (Joanie), Jayne Brabrooke and Audrey Jurkonie; her grandchildren, Lisa Bunn, Christian Loiacono, Jennifer Sekol, Diane Dancel and Julie Lennox; her great grandchildren, Christopher Alexander, Annah Bunn, Max, Maia Loiacono, Crosby Sekol, Tristan, Kira Dancel and Evan Lennox; and her sister Irene Fiore. She is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews.
