He was predeceased by: his parents, Vananda James and Margaret Pugh Woods Meyl; and his sister Lois Meyl. He is survived by: his wife Mary M. Tolan; and his brother-in-law Thomas Tolan (Mary Ann) of Scranton. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, eighteen great nieces and nephews and eight great-great nieces and nephews whom he and his wife.
