She was predeceased by: her husband John N. Gershey Sr.; her parents, James Fawcett and Helen Lyons Fawcett; and her sister Dolores Barron. She is survived by: her children, Dr. John Gershey (Anne), Waverly Twp, Marilu O'Malley (Robert), Ellen Calomino (Michael), Scott Twp, Dr. Joseph Gershey (Susan) and S. Abington Twp; and her grandchildren, Brian Gershey (Meaghan), Lieutenant Colonel Daniel Gershey (Cheryl), Timothy Gershey (Catherine), Lisa Zerfoss (Jon), Michelle Georgetti (Brian), Joseph O'Malley (Kay Cee), Atty, Jason O'Malley (Sara), Robert O'Malley (Kristin), Christopher Calomino (Melissa), Lindsey Brannigan (Christopher), Amanda O'Dell (Brian Zompetti), Nicholas and Lauren Gershey. She is also survived by 24 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Church of Saint Gregory (330 N Abington Rd, Clarks Green, PA 18411). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 11:45 AM at the Dunmore Cemetery (400 Church St, Dunmore, PA 18512).
