With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene J Donahue of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 16, 2021. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eugene J Donahue to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Donahue and Ann Walsh Donahue; his sisters, Martha (Thomas Ruddy) and Marilyn (Andrew Walsh); his aunt Marie; and his uncle John Schofield.
He is survived by: his wife Erin; his nieces, Ann Collett (Thomas) of Gainesville, Fla. and Elizabeth Devine; his stepsons, Bryan Splendido (Christine) of Bernardsville, N. J., Neil Splendido (Michelle Fischer) and Exeter; his great-nieces and great-nephews, William, Magen Collett, Molly, Clare, Grace Devine, Patrick, Shamus and Liam Sullivan; and also, Sean T, Molly Sullivan (Dennis), Luca, Sophie and Dylan Splendido.
Friends may call at the Church from noon until 1:45 p. m. All attendees are required to wear masks for both the viewing and the Mass, and social distancing will be observed.
