He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Brick Brandes; his sister Beverly Brandes Bromberg; and his parents, Sidney Brandes and Lillian Asnes Brandes. He is survived by: his children, Jodi Jaspan (David) and Jeff Brandes (Kara) of Lexington, MA; and his grandchildren, Emily Brandes, Luke Jaspan and Jacob Brandes. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
