He is survived by: his wife Harriet Koukoltsios Scantzos; his children, Marian Robitzer (Donald) of Birdsboro and Lazaros Scantzos (Antje) of Wyomissing; and his grandchildren, Harrison, Demetrios, Alexander and Kathryn. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
