He was loved and cherished by many people including: his close friends, Dennis Corvo, Bud Rogalla and Dennis Sebastianelli; his brother Vince Scarpetta; and his friend Lynn Pearl.
He purchased the restaurant in the 1990s and managed to navigate the business successfully through an intentionally set fire that required a full re-build, and the coronavirus pandemic which affected businesses all over the country.
