Catherine Simone Reed Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Catherine Simone Reed of Clarks Summit, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 14, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her husband George Donald Reed Sr.; and her parents, Michael Simone and Mary Cannon Simone. She is survived by: her children, Donna Reed Zakrewsky (Victor) of Seaford, DE and G. Donald Reed Jr. (Margaret) of Phoenixville; her sister Mariann (Peter Dubiac) of Clarks Summit; and her grandchildren, Stephen Zakrewsky, Michael Zakrewsky, Jack Reed and Sarah Reed. She is also survived by 4 great-grandsons.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 8:50 AM to 9:50 AM at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. (418 S State St, Clarks Summit, PA 18411). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Snows Church (301 S State St, Clarks Summit, PA 18411).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
