She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Heid and Margaret Heid (Grosick); and her husband Bernard J. Schiemer. She is survived by: her children, James Schiemer (Linda) of Clarks Mills, Janice Koettel (Mike) of Sparks, NV, John Schiemer (Jill) of Clarks Mills and Joseph Schiemer of Clarks Mills; her grandsons, James, Mark, Michael and Matthew; and her sister Marge Gorman of Westview. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
