He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth and Mary; his brother Larry Reed; and his nephews, Jeremy Reed and Adam Lewis.

He is survived by: his former wife Delores Schrecengost Reed; his pet Westerns; his wife Dee; his daughters, Lisa Petersen (Chris) of Richmond and Mindi Ramage (Charles) of Warrenton, Virginia; his grandchildren, Avery Ramage of Arcata, CA, Jaxon William Ramage of Warrenton and Madelyn Jean Ramage of Warrenton, Virginia; his siblings, Mike Reed (Mary Ellen) of Knox, Pennsylvania, Randy Reed of Mesa, Arizona and Linda Lewis (Robert) of Clarion, Pennsylvania; and his sister-in-law Kathy Reed (Terry Cope) of Clarion, Pennsylvania.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, a private family visitation and service will be held on Monday, April 27, 2020 with Rex Munsee officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Clarion Hospital Cancer Center and the Clarion Forest VNA Hospice.
