He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Ganoe and Gladys L. Corle Ganoe; his son-in-law Kenneth Hetrick, Jr.; his sisters, Eileen Zacherl, Margaret Senard and Jean Dunmyre; and his nephews, David Senard and Richard Senard.
He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Hetrick of Clarion and Greggory Ganoe (Tonya) of Blairsville; and his sister Hazel Goodwin of Huntington, WV. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
