He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas James Hartle Sr. and Priscilla Ann Hartle (Walter); his brothers-in-law, Raymond Carney and Gerald Trainer Jr. (Jody); and his parents-in-law, Gerald and Gladys Trainer.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Marie Trainer; his sons, Thomas J. Hartle III of Erie and Timothy G. Hartle (Jill) of Taylorsville, NC.; his granddaughter Reeghan E. Hartle of Taylorsville, NC.; his sister Priscilla Carney of Richland, Washington.; his sister-in-law Joyce Dinsmore (Scott) of Costa Rica; and also, Amber, Haley and Cole Stutzman.
