He was predeceased by: his parents, James R. McWilliams and Mary McWilliams (Krah); his wife Shirley; his siblings-in-law, Dennis Metz, Mimi McWilliams and Sheila (Phil Whitt); and his nephew David Smith.
He is survived by: his daughter Susan (Brian Dougherty) of New Bethlehem; his stepdaughter Stacy (Jason Best) of New Bethlehem; his grandchildren, Jacob Dougherty, Rebecca Dougherty, Gregory Nolf, Marley Best and Max McWilliams; his siblings, Janet Metz of Austintown, Ellen Jane (Bob Doane) of Frederick, MD, Mary Jane (John Jones), Frederick, MD and Jim (Karen); and his sisters-in-law, Sandra (John Hunsgate) and Sharon (Bob Walker). He is also survived by twenty-six nieces and nephews.
