He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Armstrong and Betty Thomas Armstrong; his parents-in-law, Dick and Marie LaVan; and his brother-in-law Ken Snyder.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda J. LaVan Armstrong; his children, Micah McElhattan (Sarah) of Knox, Tara Steele of Clarion, Lewis Armstrong (Chelsea) of Shippenville and TJ Armstrong (Hayley) of Shippenville; and his brother Scott Armstrong (Helene) of Great Meadows. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cornerstone Church of Clarion (3655 East End Rd, Shippenville, PA 16254).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Bob's honor to the Clarion Area High School, 219 Liberty Street, Clarion, PA 16214, in care of the Central Clarion Wildcats Football Boosters or Clarion Bobcat Ski Club written on the envelope, or to a charity of one's choice.
