He was predeceased by: his parent-in-law Don Carnahan; his sister Marie Nulph; his brothers-in-law, Bill Nulph and Juilian Hutson; and also Orpha Carnahan.
He is survived by: his sister Janet Hutson of Tennessee. He is also survived by children and are survived by, Don Ion and his wife Alyssa of Franklin, Rhonda Towse and her husband Dale of Ohio, and Mike Ion and his fiancé Melisa of Shippenville, ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, and many close friends.
