With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia L. Houben (Clarion, Pennsylvania), who passed away on May 28, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Shimmel and Jane Shimmel (Jones); and her siblings, Betty Louise, Madeline, Sally Britton, Donald, Marvin and Ralph Shimmel.
She is survived by: her husband William A. Houben of Eldred, PA.; her children, John M. Houben (Mary Lou) of Ripley, WV and Lora Ann Cope (Ray) of Coudersport, PA; her granddaughter Meghan Simpson (Travis) of Coudersport, PA; her children, Joshua Houben (Lydia) of Athens, GA, Anna Johnson (Rodney) of Wilmore, KY and Caleb Houben of Ripley, WV; her siblings, Irene Greslick, Janie Rothrock (Joe), Mary Fetzer and Robert Shimmel; her friend Connie Aaron; and also, Braydyn, Garrett, James Atlas, Nolan, Adrienne and Richard.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Clarion First United Methodist Church.
