She was predeceased by: her husband George Knapp; and her siblings, Anna Jean Heeter, Dora Osborne (Sis), Nora Coon, Agatha Himes (Gath), Jim, John and Bill Coon.

She is survived by: her children, Sonja Silvis Zacherl (Gary) of Erie, Harold Silvis (Cathy) of Oil City and Dennis Knapp (Leah Wolf) of Clarion; and her grandchildren, Dr. Troy Zacherl (Lorraine), Roxanne Silvis, Tricia Peterson (Brett), Colleen Wiser (Andy), Kelly Kaltenbaugh (Steve), Steve Silvis and Nikki Knapp. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
