It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary E. Proud of Clarion, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 21, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, W. Henry Griebel and Mary Baumgardner Griebel; and her husband Selby Kline Proud. She is survived by: her stepsons, Selby J. Proud of Florida and Vernon K. Proud of Illinois; her grandsons, Scott Proud (Michelle) of Kentucky, Selby V. Proud (Kristy) of Illinois and Justin Proud (Melissa) of Illinois; her great grandchildren, Brayden Proud, Summer Proud, Selby D. Proud and Madison Proud; her goddaughter Roberta Rowan (Susan Bemis); and also Richard of Mars.
