We are sad to announce that on November 6, 2024, at the age of 55, Mark L. Stokes of Clarion, Pennsylvania, born in Newark, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Mark may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mark touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Porter and Barbara Stokes Thomas; and his brothers, Omar Beyah and Omar Cratch. He is survived by: his daughters, Amira Stokes (Brandi), Makia Stokes and Mya Stokes; his grandchildren, A'zaylin Thompson and Tristan Ellison; his siblings, Anthony Stokes, Janet Hemingway (Sal), Robin Ford (Phillip) and Christine Henry (Terrance); and his sister-in-law Yolanda Beyah. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
