She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Lander and Dorothy Lander (Baumcratz); and her husband Jesse W. Sowers. She is survived by: her son Joseph Sowers (Aetina); her stepdaughters, Leah Frisoli (Anthony) and Linda Switzer (Edward); and her sister Lillian Gathagan. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 12 nieces and nephews.
