He was predeceased by: his parents, John H. McCandless and Dorothy Mahle McCandless. He is survived by: his sons, David and Daniel; his grandchildren, James, Lydia and McKenna McCandless; his wife Beth McCandless; and his brother Christopher McCandless. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
