He was predeceased by: his father Christian Bohlen. He is survived by: his mother Hendrika Maria Bohlen; and his siblings, Margaret Copeland and Robert Christian.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, a private graveside service will be held in the Clarion Cemetery.
