It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jesse O. McKee of Clarion, Pennsylvania, born in Sligo, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 15, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell L. McKee and Grace M. McKee; and his wife Janet Hollenbaugh McKee. He is survived by: his children, Russell McKee (Theresa) of Hattiesburg and Pamela McKee Kelly Purvis (Russ) of Conway, Arkansas.; and his grandchildren, Clinton Kelly (Meredith) of Carrollton, Katie Kelly (Cody Hubanks), John McKee and Sam McKee of Hattiesburg.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in Dr. McKee's memory be made to the Department of Geography through the foundation at the University of Southern Mississippi, the Department of Geography at Clarion University of Pennsylvania, or to a charity of your choice.
